About Us
Kincaid’s Kindred Spirits is a non-profit organization created for the purpose of bringing community awareness to the plight of adults who are afflicted with Sickle Cell Anemia and Sickle Cell Trait. Our aim is to help lessen their uncertainty and to improve their quality of life by mobilizing for greater public support of health care maintenance, alternatives to independent living and access to employment opportunities.

Our Mission
The mission of Kincaid's Kindred Spirits, Inc. is to advocate and support research, medical care, and greater access to human services for individuals with Sickle Cell Anemia and Sickle Cell Trait.

History
In July 2004, Kincaid’s Kindred Spirits, Inc. was established for the purpose of resolving issues that affect individuals and their families surrounding Sickle Cell Anemia and Sickle Cell Trait. In doing this we also want to become a financial liaison for individuals who struggle with this illness.
